9/8/2009 - Star Tribune and City Pages Articles!
There are no news like GOOD news, even if they may be old news to some!
A couple of weeks ago after we completed our new remodeling we were very pleased to have captured the attention of not one, but two newspapers. Jessica Chapman of the Twin Cities free newspaper, the City Pages praised us for our new, more roomy design, and lauded our excellent selection of fine wines, handcrafted beers and liquors with the words "Ken & Norm's has a wine selection featuring grapes from just about every wine region you've heard of (1,500 bottles all told) including some organic and local wines as well. And don't forget: The shop's got a decent liquor and beer selection too." Check out her full article here.
Bill Ward of the Star Tribune is also happy about our grand re-opening. He includes some details about the history of Ken and Norm's over the last three decades, and also probes our new owner's vision for the future of the store. In his article, Famine to Feast, Ward praises our inventory of "well-chosen wine" and describes our new space as "warm, welcoming and still redolent of earthtone paint."
