The Cline Family is famous and historic. It is known for making wine been making wine since the late 1800s. They practice only green and sustainable low-yield farming methods. Cline avoid inorganic pesticides, import natural volcanic minerals from Arizona to improve the soil, and use sheep for weed control.

Cline Ancient Vine Zinfandel - $14.99 / bottle (MSRP $18.00)
This wine is made from historic Cline Zinfandel Wines between 80 and 100 years old.
The Cline Ancient Vines Zinfandel has flavors of dark berries, coffee and chocolate with great vanilla oak character and a long lingering finish. This wine is a perfect example of the winemaking style which has made California Zinfandel famous across the globe.
Ripe fruit and soft tannins make this a mouth-coating rich vintage. Aging in new and used wood has lent this wine a subtle vanilla quality. Cline Ancient Vines Zinfandel pairs well with New York steak, red and white pasta sauces, spicy and barbecued dishes. It can be cellared for up to five years while continuing to improve in quality.

Cline Ancient Vine Mourvèdre - $14.99 / bottle (MSRP $18.00)
Mourvèdre was once extensively planted in California. It originates in the Rhône and Provence regions of France. The Cline Family owns some of the last ancient vines of this once wide-spread and popular varietal.
Cline Ancient Vines Mourvèdre offers distinct chocolate characteristics and a luscious deep plum flavor. Tannins are soft with a substantial mouth-feel. Ancient Vines Mourvèdre is a scrumptious and unusually delightful wine.
This wine is a perfect complement to a rack of lamb, grilled pork tenderloin or dark chocolate.
According to Wine Spectator, this wine is "Big and intense, with minty bay leaf scents joining ripe, rich blackberry and wild berry flavors that are framed by gritty, minerally tannins and a dash of pepper."

Cline Cashmere (Blend) - $14.99 / bottle (MSRP $21.00)
Cline Cashmere is a wonderful blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Syrah. The grapes are sourced from historic and low-yielding organically farmed vinyards that are under the careful supervision of the Cline Family.
This wine was initially created as an auction lot for the Hospice du Rhone event held in Paso Robles each year. Cline Cashmere is a very flavorful, smooth wine offering big cherry, raspberry and chocolate notes with hints of cracked black pepper and plum. It is a very memorable wine.

For right around $10, you can come in to get your bottle (or case!!) of Scaranto Delle Venezie Pinot Grigio 2007, which promises to go so well with the spell of summer weather that we have been enjoying.
